Who We Are

Green Coast Recycling LLC is the brainchild of two young men with a vision for their community. We grew up with a global mindset and local responsibility. Our company is a company devoted to making and keeping our coastline clean and green. We began as a residential program and expanded to service commercial accounts in order to help businesses comply with new recycling laws. Our goal is to keep material out of landfills not to contribute material to landfills.

What We Do

So, what is curbside pick-up? As easily as the trash collector comes to pick up your garbage, we come to your home or business and collect your various recyclable items. We provide all the containers you'll need. We pick up, sort and transport all of your household recycling (glass, plastic, aluminum) weekly or bi-weekly depending on your needs.

Local Impact

In Wilmington alone, we have projected the impact our customers create for our community. We will be able to keep out of landfills: 1,248,000 lbs. of glass or 624,000 tons (this number is based on current volume which will inevitably increase in summer months being that we are a coastal community), 108,000 lbs. of cardboard or 54 tons (this number should increase as well due to ABC permit holders who are just starting to recycle cardboard with us), and around 90,000 lbs. (45 tons) of aluminum and 90,000 lbs. of plastic. These numbers should steadily increase as our business grows. Also, after the Fourth of July, the Green Coast team along with other friends and volunteers picked up 1,400 lbs from Masonboro Island.

Our Vision

For our families* For our community* For our planet

RESIDENTIAL CURBSIDE RECYCLING COLLECTION FOR YOUR HOME
AND
RECYCLING SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR BUSINESS

In 2008 alone, we kept 832 tons of material out of our landfill.

We volunteered a collective 200 hours to local environmental non-profits.

We helped clean beaches, our Cape Fear river and Masonboro Island.

We were instrumental in drawing attention to the Masonboro littering issue creating awareness and volunteer programs to protect the island. On july 5th of last summer with the help of other groups and individuals, we hauled 1400+pounds of litter off of the island. We were able to recycle around 900 pounds of that.

We donated or helped raise over $10,000 for local environmental non-profits to help keep our area clean and green for years to come.

These things would not be possible without our loyal customers. Being a Green Coast customer also means contributing to initiatives that better our community and preserve the natural beauty that draws us all and keeps us here.

We would appreciate your business and your community will appreciate your contribution.

Don’t just go green GO GREEN COAST!!!!!
